Welcome to Calkins Farm Stand!

Come in and see us! We are conveniently located on Route 1A in Hampden, just 6.4 miles south of the Paul Bunyan statue in Bangor. We grow a wide variety of seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables, annuals, perennials and herbs. We also sell eggs, apples, cider, maple syrup, honey and jams. In the winter, we sell Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands. We are open seven days a week for your convenience.

    Vegetables at farm stand If you want to plant your own vegetables, we grow and sell vegetable seedlings, including several varieties of tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. We also grow and sell delicious seasonal vegetables, fruits,and herbs. If you like flowers, we sell an assortment of annuals, perennials, and ready-made pots. Soils and Fertilizers are also available for purchase.

    Calkins' jams and jellies We sell our John's freshly pressed apple cider in the Fall, and our Janice's delicious pickles, jams, and jellies made with produce in season. We supplement our farm stand with local brown eggs, maple syrup, honey and dried beans. In December we sell our beautiful hand-crafted wreaths and garlands, and locally grown Christmas trees.

    Eligible pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under 5 years of age may receive any variety of fresh fruits and vegetables from Calkins Farm Stand. For eligibility requirements and WIC Program information visit:
